Abilities

This game sports A LOT of abilities for each character, so it's only fitting that we give you all of them and their descriptions. Enjoy!

Note: Passive skills gain SP by leveling up. There is no other way to grant them SP.

Berethor

Sword Craft
Guardian Strike A powerful melee attack.
Orc Bane A melee attack that causes more damage to Orcs than a regular melee attack.
Shattering Strike A melee attack that lowers the armor value of an enemy.
Counter Attack Gives Berethor a chance to automatically counter attack a foe who attacks him.
Citadel Rage An attack that allows Berethor to strike twice.
Uruk-Hai Bane A melee attack that causes more damage to all type of Uruk-Hai.
Ecthelion Wrath A melee attack that allows Berethor to strike three times.
Defensive Strike A melee attack that can not be counter attacked.
Targeted Strike A melee attack that ignores enemy armor.
Stunning Strike A melee attack that delays an enemy's next attack.
Gondor Rampage A melee attack that allows Berethor to strike five times.
Leadership
Company Might Temporary enhances the Strength of your party, so each does more damage.
Company Valor Briefly raises group Dexterity, Constitution and Speed, upping accuracy, HPs and melee defense.
Stand Fast Grants party immunity to all stunning effects for the full duration of fight.
Fellowship Grace Restores the Action Points (AP) of your group by a small amount each round.
War Call Gives two allies an immediate free attack against a single target.
Company Resistance Party takes 25 percent less damage from Spirit or Spirit- enhanced attacks.
All Retreat Allows the party to fall back out of combat.
Company Rally Enhances the attack momentum of your group for a short time.
Royal Grace Restores the health (HP) of your group by a small amount each round.
Shield of Courage Grants immunity to fear and cures all negative effects.
Last Gasp Party will not drop below 1 HP unless at 1 HP, for a short time.
War Cry Gives three allies an immediate free attack against a single target.
Company Power Improves the probability your group will cause critical hits for a short time.
Captain's Inspire Reduces the Action Point (AP) cost of all actions taken by your group for a short time.
Passive Skills
Citadel Might Increases Berethor's Strength, which improves his melee damage.
Ithilien Inspiration 25% reduction in Action Points (AP) of all Berethor's actions while in Perfect Mode.
Rising Valor Increases Berethor's Action Point (AP) pool.
Gondorian Evade Gives Berethor a chance to automatically dodge an enemy attack.
Challenge of Gondor Increases Berethor's melee damage when taunting a foe.
Increased Armor Increases the armor value of Berethor's equipment.
Immune to Fear Makes Berethor immune to fear.
Citadel Evasion Increases Berethor's chances of dodging.
Double Attack Allows Berethor to take two extra actions in his turn.
Ecthelion Might Increases Berethor's Health (HP).

Idrial

Fluid Strike A more powerful melee attack.
Weaking Slash A melee attack that lowers the Strength of an enemy..
Wounding Strike A melee attack that continues to damage an enemy for a short time.
Elven Rage A melee attack that allows Idrial to strike twice.
Stunning Strike A melee attack that delays an enemy's next attack.
Leech Inspiration A melee attack that also drains Action Poitns (AP) over time.
Destined Strike A melee attack that always hits, but does less damage.
Gil-Galad Rampage A melee attack that allows Idrial to strike three times.
Spirit Powers
Gift of Elrond Restores some Health (HP) to one party member.
Loudwater Fury The power of the Water Spirits attacks a single enemy.
Haste of the Elves Increases one party member's rate of attack for the remainder of the battle.
Drain Inspiration Drain Action Points (AP) from an enemy.
Gift of Galadriel Restores a great amount of Health (HP) to one party member.
Cleanse Shadow Removes all negative effects from a party member.
Aura of the Valor Protects one ally, automatically reviving them if they are struck down.
Power of the Valar Revives a fall party member.
Valinor Endurance Full immunity for a short time but the caster cannot take any action until the spell ends.
Valorous Haste Lets one party member automatically act next in the next battle queue.
Cleansing Waters Removes all negative effects from entire group.
Gift of Grey Havens Restores a great amount of Health (HP) to all party members.
Water Stallion Summons a great Water spirit who will strike and damage many foes.
Passive Skills
Elven Evade Gives Idrial a chance to automatically dodge an enemy attack.
Full Gift of Lorien Increases the amount of Health (HP) Idrial restores when healing.
Fury of the Valar Increases the amount of damage Idrial's direct damage Spirit Power attacks deliver.
Maliorn Armor Increases Idrial's Armor protection.
Fortune's Mastery Greatly increases Idrial's ability to dodge enemy attacks.
Elven Inspiration Increases Idrial's Action Point (AP) pool.
Haste of the Valar Increases the effectiveness of Idrial's ability ot Haste members of the party.
Endure Shadow Increases Idrial's resistance to Shadow Spirit effects.
Frenzy Lets Idrial immediately take two additional Spirit action in her turn.
Grace of the Eldar Gives Idrial the ability to automatically regenerate Action Points (AP).

Hadhod

Axe Craft
Dwarven Cleave A more powerful melee attack.
Goblin Bane A melee attack that causes more damage to Goblins than a regular melee attack.
Cleaving Wound A melee attack that continues to damage an enemy for a short time.
Crippling Smash A melee attack that slows the attack rate of an enemy.
Hew Armor A melee attack that lowers the armor rating of an enemy.
Stone Hewer Powerful axes rock the very earth, creating a damaging Spirit attack.
Mountain Rage A melee attack tha allows Hadhod to strike twice.
Durin Wrath A two strike combination attack that also stuns the target.
Counter Attack Gives Hadhod a chance to automatically counter attack a foe who attacks him.
Berserk A damaging attack that lowers Hadhod's defense but increases speed for as hort time.
Spirit Cleave A melee attack that lowers the Defensive Spirit Power of an enemy in combat.
Smite A melee attack that always causes a Critical Hit.
Rampage of Durin A melee attack that allows Hadhod to strike four times.
Mountain Hewer Powerful axes rock the very earth, creating a damaging Spirit attack that hurts all enemies.
Spirit Powers
Stone Shield Creates a shield around an ally that must be broken before that character takes damage.
Flaming Fury The power of the Fire Spirits attacks a single enemy, causing variable damage if it hits.
Endure Flame Reduces the damage your group takes from flame attacks in the next round.
Damaging Shield Creates a shield that damages melee attackers.
Mountain Shield Creates a shield for the party that must be broken before damage is taken.
Flames of Ruin An attack that causes fire damage, and continues to damage an enemy for a short time.
Devastating Shield Creates a shield around the party that damages enemies who strike it.
Dragon Calling Summons a great Dragon Fire Spirit who attacks all enemies.
Passive Skills
Dwarven Evade Gives Hadhod a chance to automatically dodge an enemy attack.
Dwarven Rally Increases Hadhod's Attack Momentum.
Lordly Might Increases Hadhod's Strenght, which improves his melee damage.
Evasion of Gloin Improves Hadhod's ability to dodge of enemy attacks.
Battle Hardened Armor Increases Hadhod's Armor value.
Overwhelimg Axes While in PErfect Mode, Hadhod's attacks will always give Critical Hits.
Might of Balin Increases Hadhod's Health (HP).
Dwarven Challenge Increases Hadhod's melee damage when taunting a foe.
Dwarven Haste Allows Hadhod to take actions more often during combat.

Elegost

Bow Craft
Creature Bane A ranged attack that does increased damage to animals.
Arrow Flurry A ranged attack that targets two foes.
Blinding Shot A ranged attack that lowers the accuracy of an enemy.
Draining Shot A ranged attack that gives Elegost Health (HP) equal to damage done.
Crippling Shot A ranged attack that also slows the enemy.
Shield Piercing A ranged attack that lowers the melee defense of an enemy.
Pinning Shot A ranged attack that also prevents enemies from coutner attacking.
True Shot A deadly ranged attack that causes tremendous damage to an enemy.
Ranger Craft
Aimed Shot A more powerful ranged attack.
Piercing Might A ranged attack that lowers the melee damage caused by the target.
Pierce Will A ranged attack that lowers the Spirit defense of an enemy.
Arrows of Sleep A ranged attack that puts a foe to sleep for a short time.
Paralyzing Shot A ranged attack that also prevents a foe from using any melee attack for a short time.
Kingsfoil Grace Restores some Health (HP) to one party member over time.
Cursed Arrow A ranged attack that also weakens a foe's ranged attacks for a short time.
Flash Arrow A ranged attack that blinds all enemies, reducing their melee and ranged accuracy.
Arrow Splinters A ranged attack that also prevents a foe from attacking from range for a short time.
Grace of Athelas Grant entire party Health regenration
Pierce Spirit A ranged attack that also lowers the magic damage caused by an enemy for a short time.
Northern Storm Summons a lightning storm that strikes all foes for heavy damage over time.
Fangorn Roots A ranged attack that also completely immobilizes a foe for a short time.
Passive Skills
Ranger Evade Gives Elegost a chance to automatically dodge an enemy attack.
Dunedain Evasion Increases Elegost's ability to dodge an enemy attack.
Hands of the Bowman Increases Elegost's Dexterity, which improves his accuracy.
Ranger War Rally Increases the rate at which Elegost gains Momentum for his actions.
Spirit of the North Increases Elegost's Action Point (AP) pool.
Frenzy Allows Elegost to immediately take two additional actions in his turn.
Blessing of Haste Allows Elegost to take actions more often during combat.
Sleep Volley Makes Arrows of Sleep attack affect all enemies.
Lingerling Sleep Makes attack Arrows of Sleep last for the duration of the fight.
Crippling Might Increases effectiveness of Crippling Shot.

Morwen

Dual-Axe Craft
Double Cleave A more damaging melee attack.
Warg Bane A melee attack that is more damaging to Wargs.
Battle Haste Hastens Morwen's attacks during combat.
Rage of the Maiden A melee attack that does a lot of damage.
Poisoned Wounds A melee attack that poisons a foe, doing increasing damage over time.
Twin Wounds A melee attack that does greater damage over time.
Sneak Attack A fierce melee attack that cannot be counter attacked.
Paralyzing Wound An attack that briefly stops a foe from making melee attacks and causes damage over time.
Wrath of Penmark A melee attack that allows Morwen to strike four times.
Stunning Cleave A melee attack that delays an enemy's next attack.
Valorous Cleave A melee attacck that always hits.

Rohirric Rampage A melee attack that allows Morwen to strike six times.
Thief Craft
Steal Item Allows Morwen to attempt to steal an item from an enemy.
Sieze Skill Allows Morwen to attempt to seize Skill Points (SP) from a foe.
Capture Strength Allows Morwen to attempt to drain Strength from a foe, and add it to her own.
Steal Action Allows Morwen to try to drain Action Points (AP).
Steal Health Allows Morwen to attempt to drain Health (HP) form an enemy, and add them to her own.
Sieze Dexterity Allows Morwen to attempt to drain Dexterity from an enemy, and add it to her own.
Steal Experience Allows Morwen to attempt to steal permanent Experience Points from an enemy.
Cloak of the Plains Allows Morwen to hide for a short time, protecting her from being attacked.
Passive Skills
Snowbourne Sleep Gives Morwen a chance to automatically dodge an enemy attack.
Eorlingas Rally Increases the rate at which Morwen gains Momentum from her actions.
Hands of Rohan Increases Morwen's Dexterity, improving her ability to hit.
Inspire Crafting Lowers Morwen's Action Point (AP) cost for crafting items.
Justice for Balin Gives Morwen a chance to automatically counter attack a foe who attacks her.
Mearas Good Fortune Increases Morwen's Strength, improving her melee damage.

Rupture Armor This battle skill allows melee attacks to ignore the enemy armor rating.
Horse Lord Skewer A more powerful melee attack.
Enraging Blow A damaging attack that converts some damage into Action Points (AP) for the enemy.
Rohirrim Rage A melee attack that allows Eaoden to strike twice.
Wrath of Edoras A melee attack that allows Eaoden to strike three times.
Invigorating Blow A greatly damaging melee attack that also hastens the enemy.
Rampage of Helm A melee attack that allows Eaoden to strike five times.
Spirit Powers
Drain Health Drains Health Points (HP) from an enemy, and heals Eaoden.
Drain Spirit Drains Action Points (AP) from an enemy.
Channel Health Transfers some of Eaoden's Health (HP) to another party member.
Tap Reserve Converts some of Eaoden's own Health (HP) into Action Points (AP).
Dispel Removes all enemy enhancements from a single foe.
Spirit Drought Decreases an enemy's Action Point (AP) pool.
Channel Spirit Transfers some of Eaoden's Action Points (AP) to another party member.
Channel Defense Transfers some of Eaoden's Defense to another party member.
Silence Evil Prevents an enemy from using any Spirit Power attacks for a short time.
Shatter Armor Lowers and enemy's Armor, and increases Eaoden's by the same amount.
Absorption Enchants party to conver the damage from the next hit each takes into Action Points (AP).
Sacrifice Reserves Causes everyone in the party to convert Health (HP) into Action Points (AP).
Battle Mirror Creates a shield around Eaoden that reflects Damage back to enemies for a short time.
Scatter Health Drains enemy Health (HP) and transfers it to your group.
Leech Essence Drains Health (HP) and Action Points (AP) from an enemy over time.
